
Delhi Government Order: In view of the double blow of cold and pollution in Delhi, the government has announced 50% work from home in all government and private offices. This rule will be implemented from Thursday 18th December. According to the government, fine will also be imposed on those who violate the rules. Apart from this, a compensation of Rs 10,000 will also be given to the registered construction workers affected by the ban on construction work in Delhi. This announcement has been made by Delhi Government Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra.
Kapil Mishra organized a press conference and said, “In view of pollution, the Labor Ministry of Delhi Government has taken two big decisions. First, there will be ₹ 10,000 DBT in the accounts of all the registered and verified construction workers affected by the stoppage of construction work. Whereas, the second decision will make 50% work from home mandatory in all government and private offices of Delhi. While exemption will be given for essential services like health.
AQI in severe category in Delhi
An increase in pollution is being recorded in Delhi since the time of Diwali. Even on Wednesday AQI remained beyond 400. Even on Thursday it was close to 400 but did not cross the 400 mark. These days there is a thick layer of smog in Delhi. AQI is being recorded in the severe category, which is quite dangerous for health. Due to this, road accidents have also increased.
How much AQI in which category?
AQI is divided into 6 categories. Which includes severe (401-500), very poor (301-400), poor (201-300), moderately polluted (101-200), satisfactory (51-100) and good (0-50). According to AQI, you can find out in which category AQI is in your area. If AQI is above 200, the risk of health effects increases.
