Itanagar. The revelations of espionage network in Arunachal Pradesh and border related activities have increased the concern of security agencies. Police have arrested 4 suspects of espionage network linked to Pakistan in the last 10 days. Meanwhile, local people have informed about the presence of Chinese army near the Line of Actual Control and possible infiltration. According to the police, the arrested accused were sending information about army activities and other sensitive information to Pakistani handlers. Initial investigation has also revealed indications of this network being linked to China. Security experts are linking this to the strategy of ‘hybrid war’, in which espionage, infiltration and military pressure are used together. State Home Minister Mama Natung has said that strict action will be taken against those involved in espionage activities and there will be no compromise on national security.
