Women’s Premier League i.e. WPL 2026 is going to start from today i.e. Friday, January 9. The first match of the tournament will be played between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Mumbai will be eyeing its fourth title. Whereas Smriti Mandhana-led RCB would like to win its second title. This time the captains of UP and Delhi have also changed. UP will be captained by Meg Lanning, while Delhi’s team will be led by Jemimah Rodrigues. Before the Women’s T20 World Cup, players have a chance to shine in the fifth season of WPL.
