India has made it to the Super Eight stage of the T20 World Cup by defeating Pakistan. The Indian team gave a strong performance against the arch-rivals, but after the match, Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav had an argument which attracted everyone’s attention. Why did Hardik get angry?
Hardik was angry at Kuldeep for missing the catch. During the 18th over of Pakistan’s innings, Shaheen Afridi missed the catch of Hardik Pandya’s ball from Kuldeep standing at the boundary. Actually, Shaheen played a pull shot and the ball went straight to Kuldeep standing at the corner. Kuldeep had also taken the catch, but the ball left his hand and went beyond the boundary. Hardik looked quite disappointed by this mistake although he did not react immediately at that time. Hardik’s real anger came out when he dismissed Pakistan’s innings by dismissing Usman Tariq. As the team gathered to celebrate the wicket, Hardik Pandya turned towards Kuldeep Yadav and scolded him for dropping the catch. During this time, disappointment and sadness were clearly visible on Kuldeep’s face. Not only this, captain Suryakumar Yadav also got angry due to Kuldeep dropping the catch and he was seen reprimanding Kuldeep.
India qualified for Super Eight
The Indian team performed brilliantly against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. India scored 175 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs with the help of Ishan Kishan’s half-century. Ishan Kishan scored a half-century for India. Pakistan team was all out for 114 runs in 18 overs and lost the match by 61 runs. This is India’s biggest win against Pakistan in T20 by margin of runs. In this match, first Ishan Kishan performed brilliantly and then the Indian bowlers showed their strength. The interesting thing is that Pakistan team could not even play the full 20 overs. With this victory, the Indian team has reached the Super Eight stage. While Indian fans are happy with India’s victory, Pakistan has once again been defeated.
