IPL 2026 | The atmosphere has started to build for the IPL 2026 auction. BCCI on Tuesday released the list of 350 players who will be bid in the mini auction. A total of 1005 players have been excluded from the IPL mini auction, while there are 3 players who did not have the right to enter the IPL. These players are big names in world cricket and they were banned by BCCI due to its rules. All these three players are from England and have the ability to win matches on their own in T20 cricket.
These 3 players are banned
The names of the three players who have been banned in IPL Auction 2026 are – Ben Stokes, Harry Brook and Jason Roy. These three players of England have been banned for the same reason. Actually, Harry Brook and Jason Roy had withdrawn their names after being sold in the IPL 2025 auction, after which they were banned for two years under BCCI rules. Harry Brook was bought by Delhi Capitals in 2025 for Rs 6.25 crore, but he left the league for the England domestic season. Therefore Brook is banned till 2026 and 2027. Jason Roy left IPL in 2024 due to personal reasons and did not appear in the 2025 auction. Ben Stokes did something similar and now he too is facing this ban.
