New Delhi: India is going to host AI-Impact Summit from 16 to 20 February 2026. More than 100 countries are participating in this global summit, in which important topics like Artificial Intelligence policy, innovation, ethics, security and global cooperation will be discussed. However, Pakistan has not been invited for this much-awaited summit, due to which discussion has started at the international level. This conference is based on three basic principles – People, Planet and Progress.
According to sources, the countries participating in the summit have been selected on the basis of strategic and policy parameters. India’s emphasis is on enhancing cooperation with countries that support a shared vision of developing responsible, safe and human-centric Artificial Intelligence. This summit will focus on finding solutions to global challenges such as health, education, climate change and economic development through technology.
Heads of state and government of many countries will participate in the summit on the personal invitation of Prime Minister Modi. Top leaders from Europe, America, Asia-Pacific, Africa and Gulf countries will discuss the future of AI, global standards and avenues of cooperation on this platform. Apart from this, participation of ministerial-level delegations from more than 45 countries is scheduled, due to which this conference will truly take the form of a global platform. The Secretary General of the United Nations and senior officials of many international organizations are also likely to attend this summit.
India has said that the objective of AI-Impact Summit is not just technical demonstration, but also to establish concrete cooperation on policy-making, investment, startup ecosystem and international standards. Ministerial sessions, expert panels, startup showcases and bilateral meetings will also be organized during the summit. No detailed reason has been officially made public for not inviting Pakistan for this summit.
