Tehran: Today Wednesday is the fifth day of America-Israel’s attack on Iran. There is no sign of the war ending yet, rather US President Donald Trump has hinted at prolonging the war. America and Israel continue to attack Iran. Israel has expanded the scope of the attack to Hezbollah bases in Lebanon. On Tuesday, Lebanon’s Health Ministry said at least 52 people were killed and 154 were injured in the attacks in areas around Beirut and southern Lebanon. Meanwhile, Iran continued to target US military bases in the Middle East. The American Embassy was also targeted. Trump has announced to respond to this very harshly. The situation remains tense throughout the Middle East, with many airports having little or no flight operations, which are otherwise jam-packed with passengers. According to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, the death toll in the country reached close to 800. Iran has been retaliating in the entire area for the last four days. It is attacking many places inside Israel and the Gulf countries, including energy facilities in Qatar and the US Embassy in Saudi Arabia. The increasing scope of the war, the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the absence of any clear plan to come out of all this has created an environment for a long conflict which will have far-reaching consequences. Attacks are taking place even in places considered safe havens in the Middle East like Dubai. Fuel prices have increased. As the conflict escalates, the US State Department has appealed to American citizens to leave more than a dozen Middle East countries due to security risks.
