Who is ‘Udai’?
‘UDAY’ is the official mascot and digital communication partner of UIDAI. Its main objective is to make Aadhaar services simple, accessible and easy to understand for the common people. Just as technical information is often complex, ‘Uday’ explains it in simple language in the form of a ‘narrator’ or guide. Its name and design have been selected from many entries from across the country.

If you want to update your address, mobile number or date of birth and don’t understand how, ‘Uday’ will explain the step-by-step process. Many people are afraid about the security of Aadhaar. ‘UDAY’ makes people understand how to use Aadhaar safely and avoid frauds.
