The accident occurred near the Adamuz area of ​​Cordoba province in Spain, where a high-speed Irio train going from Málaga to Madrid derailed and collided with another train. Passengers said they had to break windows to get out, resulting in injuries to several people. Some compartments were filled with smoke. Spain’s rail infrastructure agency ADIF has temporarily suspended all rail services between Madrid and Andalusia. Red Cross and emergency services are engaged in relief and rescue operations.
