Udaipur. A heavy jeep went out of control and fell into a ditch in Udaipur district of Rajasthan. In this accident, three people died on the spot and more than a dozen people were injured, who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. According to the information, the brakes of the jeep going from Bilwan in Kotra tribal area of Udaipur district suddenly failed while climbing. The driver tried his best to control the jeep. But the jeep left the road and fell straight into a ditch about 60 feet deep. It is being told that a total of 27 people were traveling in the jeep during the accident.
After this incident, many people gathered on the spot and immediately started rescue operations. People gathered at the spot informed the police about the incident. After receiving the information, Kotada police and 108 ambulance reached the spot. The injured were taken to Kotra hospital for treatment. In this accident, Kabu’s father Narsa Garasia, Reshmi’s husband Vakhta Garasia and Suresh’s father Roshan Garasia died on the spot. The dead bodies have been kept in the mortuary of Kotra Hospital.
Kotra is a completely tribal area in Udaipur district of Rajasthan. More than 120 jeeps operate in this area, which are often overloaded. This has happened many times in the past too and many people have lost their lives, yet everyone runs there overloaded. During the accident on Wednesday, 27 passengers were sitting in the jeep more than its capacity.
