Team India’s star fast bowler Mohammed Shami has been included in the Bengal team for the Vijay Hazare Trophy. This domestic season has been fantastic for Shami. He has proved his excellent form by taking 36 wickets. Shami has not played for Team India for a long time. Recently, Shami did not get a chance in any of the ODI, Test and T20 series against South Africa. In such a situation, it is expected that Shami will show his strong game once in Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Let us tell you that after recovering from injury, Shami has made a strong comeback for Bengal. There was a lot of discussion recently about his fitness because he was not selected in the team. Despite this, despite not getting a place in the national team, Shami is performing brilliantly in domestic tournaments. In the red ball season, Shami took 20 wickets in four Ranji matches, in which his average was 18.60 and also took 5/38 once. Bengal has topped Group C with three wins in five matches. Shami continued his form in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and became Bengal’s most successful bowler by taking 16 wickets in seven matches, his average being 14.93.
Mukesh and Akashdeep are also in the team along with Shami.
Shami will lead Bengal’s three fast bowlers in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, which also includes India’s Akash Deep and Mukesh Kumar.
