Hyderabad. Nikita Godishala, who was allegedly murdered in America last week, was given a tearful last farewell by her Hyderabad family and friends on Friday. Nikita’s mortal remains were cremated at the crematorium in Marredpally. According to family sources, the last rites were conducted privately.
Nikita’s mortal remains reached Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Friday morning. The family had already made it clear that the last rites would be conducted in a peaceful and dignified manner, for which police protection was also sought.
Nikita’s family, who works in the health sector, lives in Tarnaka. In a statement, the family appealed to national and international media to practice responsible journalism, not publish unverified information and cooperate with the investigation, so that the justice process can be completed with dignity.
