According to media reports, Mexico State Civil Protection Coordinator Adrian Hernandez has confirmed the incident. The accident occurred in the San Mateo Atenco area, which is an industrial area. This place is located about five kilometers from Toluca Airport and about 50 kilometers west of Mexico City. According to the information, the plane had taken off from Acapulco city located on the Pacific coast of Mexico.
Adrian Hernandez said that there were a total of 8 passengers and 2 crew members on board this private jet. Only seven bodies were recovered from the debris several hours after the accident. Investigation is ongoing regarding the condition of the remaining people. According to preliminary information, the plane had attempted to make an emergency landing on a football field, but it hit the roof of a nearby factory or commercial building, causing a fire, causing chaos in the area. There was a lot of damage due to the fire and accident. Investigation into this accident has been started.
According to the report, due to the fire, about 130 people had to be evacuated safely from the surrounding area. As a precaution, many buildings were evacuated, so that no one else gets harmed. At present, relief and rescue operations have been completed and the local administration is monitoring the situation.
