Jodhpur. A sensational and emotional case has come to light from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Sadhvi Prem Baisa, associated with the promotion of Sanatan Dharma, died under suspicious circumstances. The whole matter has taken a new turn after an alleged suicide note was posted on social media from his Instagram account, about four hours after his death. After this post surfaced, serious questions like social media trolling, blackmailing and mental harassment have arisen. Some people suspect that Sadhvi’s father got her murdered. The post-mortem of the dead body has been done. However, there is a dispute regarding handing over the body after post-mortem. The Sant Samaj wants to take the dead body to the Samadhi site. At the same time, the father has expressed his desire to take him home.
Sadhvi Prem Baisa was quite active on social media for some time and her videos had also gone viral. He had made serious allegations against a person regarding this video. Sadhvi said that the video that went viral was related to her father, which was edited and spread in a wrong way. He had also lodged a police complaint in this matter alleging an attempt at blackmailing. The accused was arrested after police action, after which his family apologized to Sadhvi. Sadhvi showed great heart and forgave the accused.
It is alleged that after coming out of jail, the same person re-edited the video and made it viral on social media, after which Sadhvi had to face heavy trolling. In the post he wrote that he lived every moment of his life for the propagation of Sanatan Dharma and Sanatan remained in his heart till his last breath. He also wrote that he had given a written request to Adi Jagatguru Shankaracharya and many saints and mahatmas of the country for the fire test, but perhaps nature had approved something else. At the end of the post he expressed hope of getting justice, if not in life, then after death.
However, questions are being raised regarding this post also. It is feared that this post may have been pre-scheduled, which was automatically published on social media after the death. Police are now investigating this technical aspect also. Independent MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati said regarding this incident that the sequence of events that has happened is very sad. Such an incident in Marwar is sad, there are many pluses and minuses of the digital age, whatever is the incident behind it, it should be investigated.
After the death, there was a huge commotion in the ashram located in Aarti Nagar at night. Local people and supporters alleged that an attempt was being made to hide something in the entire matter. The situation became more tense when Sadhvi’s father initially refused to conduct the post-mortem. People surrounded his car and were adamant on the demand for post-mortem. Besides, allegations were also made that CCTV footage was missing from the ashram.
Late night, Sadhvi’s mortal remains were brought to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, where post-mortem was conducted. Police say that the case is being investigated from every angle, be it social media trolling, blackmailing or the authenticity of the suicide note. At present, the death of Sadhvi Prem Baisa has created a sensation not only in Jodhpur but in the entire state.
