How much money is available in PM Kisan Yojana?
Under PM Kisan Yojana, eligible farmers get a total of Rs 6,000 every year. In which Rs 2,000 is transferred directly to the bank account in three installments of 4 months. Crores of farmers of the country are getting its benefits. If we talk about the 22nd installment, it is likely to come in February.
What to do before the 22nd installment?
Open pmkisan.gov.in website.
Click on eKYC in Farmers Corner.
Enter Aadhaar number.
Submit the OTP received on linked mobile.
The status will be updated as soon as eKYC is done.
Farmer ID will be the digital identity of farmers
The government will now consider the unique Farmer ID as the digital identity of the farmer under PM Kisan Yojana. In such a situation, e-KYC is very important before the money comes into the farmers’ account. If this process is not completed then the money will not come. Therefore, make sure to update before the installment arrives.
After creating Farmer ID, farmers will also be able to get subsidy on purchase of fertilizers and seeds. With this, crop insurance claims will also become easier. There will be no need to collect documents like every time. This means that farmers will be able to avail many services from a single ID.
How to check whether your name is in the list or not?
First of all go to the official website pmkisan.gov.in.
Click on Beneficiary Status in Farmers Corner.
After this enter Aadhaar number, mobile number or bank account number.
Finally fill the captcha and click on Get Data.
You will see complete information on the screen.
