New Delhi: Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court, during the hearing today in the Excise Policy scam case, said that for the first time I am seeing such a charge sheet which has so many flaws. The court said that the investigating officer should have presented the facts properly. This is the first time I am seeing such a charge sheet which has so many flaws. The court said that the documents given by CBI do not match the charge sheet. All citizens in the country have the right to a fair trial. Sometimes when you read many files, the files start talking to you.

The court scolded the investigating agency and said that I have been demanding confession from the first day. But, it was not given along with the charge sheet. The court said that a list of star witnesses was demanded. On the court’s rebuke, the agency said that the information was given in a sealed envelope.

The special judge expressed his displeasure that he had not been given a copy of the confessional statement yet. I expect honesty from the CBI lawyer. The court told the agency that CBI had filed the same chargesheet in the Chennai court and had called it South Lobby, where did the word South Lobby come from?

Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia have been acquitted of all charges in the Delhi Excise Policy case investigated by the CBI. The Rouse Avenue Court ruled that no evidence was found of any criminal conspiracy or wrongdoing in making the excise policy. Special judge Jitendra Singh acquitted Kejriwal along with Sisodia and several others. The court said that there was no substance in the allegations and no criminal intention could be proved. Kejriwal was made accused number 18 in this case.
