From Rhythm to Recognition: MUSIC Education Opens New Academic Milestones
Chandigarh Chhaya School of Art (CSA) has once again proven that dedication to the performing arts can lead to remarkable academic success. In a proud and inspiring achievement, students of Classical Music trained under the guidance of Mr. Ram Pukar Singha Founder and Director of Bihar’s renowned RISHAV SANGEET MAHAVIDYALAYA, Patna—an affiliated institute of Chandigarh Chhaya School of Art—have successfully cleared the Bihar STET 2025 examination.

These students had earlier completed their professional music examinations from Chandigarh Chhaya School of Art and were awarded CSA certifications. Building on this strong foundation, more than ten CSA-certified dance students went on to qualify for the prestigious State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025, conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board, bringing immense pride to their district and the entire art education fraternity.
A special mention must be made of Guru Ram Pukar Singha, a respected teacher from Rishav Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Patna, Bihar, under whose artistic influence and guidance several students have flourished. Ram Pukar Singha is a shining star of the music and performing arts world, known for his dedication, discipline, and commitment to nurturing talent. His contribution further strengthens the belief that strong mentorship plays a vital role in transforming artistic passion into professional success.
Notably, all these students appeared for the STET examination only after obtaining CSA certification, highlighting the credibility and academic value of structured dance education offered by Chandigarh Chhaya School of Art.

Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Koushik Sinha and Dr. Parveen Sinha, with the excellent coordination of Mrs. Priyanka Ghosh, and inspired by the enduring legacy of Late Mrs. Chhaya Sinha, Chandigarh Chhaya School of Art continues to emerge as a powerful platform for education, culture, and holistic development of youth—not only in Bihar but across the nation.
This remarkable success sends a strong message: Music is not just performing arts, but meaningful academic disciplines capable of opening doors to competitive examinations and professional careers. The achievement has been widely appreciated by teachers, parents, and members of the art community, reinforcing the growing respect for classical and creative arts in mainstream education.
