New Delhi . The Indian Army has issued a new policy regarding the use of social media apps by soldiers. You will be able to see reels, photos and videos on Instagram, although commenting is not allowed. Will be able to share non-confidential information on apps like WhatsApp, Telegram. Apart from this, YouTube and X can be used only for information. At the same time, new guidelines have also been issued for LinkedIn, Skype and Signal app.
The Indian Army had patented the design (digital print) of the new coat combat last month. This three-layer uniform is comfortable for soldiers in all weather conditions. That means no one will be able to make, sell or use uniforms of this design without the permission of the Army. Doing so will result in legal action and fine. This new Coat Combat has been prepared by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Delhi along with the Army Design Bureau. The Army introduced the new combat uniform in January 2025.
