
Nagpur factory explosion: There is news of death of at least 15 people in a blast in a factory in Katol city of Nagpur district of Maharashtra. While many people have been injured. It is believed that the death toll in this accident may increase further. Police officials have given information about this incident on Sunday. According to the police, the blast took place in the SBL Energy Limited factory, which manufactures mining and industrial explosives, in Raulgaon of Katol tehsil. The people injured in this accident were immediately admitted to a hospital in Nagpur.
Rescue operation continues
The fire brigade team along with the police has reached the spot and the reason behind the explosion is being investigated. It was so severe that all the contents and debris of the building where the explosion occurred fell 500 to 700 meters away. Most of those who died are women. State Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule has issued instructions to the officials to provide immediate help. At present, the District Collector and SP have reached the spot and the rescue operation has also been intensified.
There was an explosion in Andhra Pradesh
On the other hand, news of an explosion in a firecracker manufacturing unit in Kakinada district of Andhra Pradesh has come to light yesterday. At least 21 people died and eight were seriously injured in this explosion. Andhra Pradesh Minister Kandula Durgesh gave this information. “As far as I know, 21 bodies have been seen here (at the site). Eight other people are undergoing treatment in hospitals. There were around 30 people in the construction unit,” he said.
