
PM Modi in Ethiopia: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Ethiopia these days. During this time, he was not only given a grand welcome there but was also honored with the highest civilian honor ‘The Great Honor Mark of Ethiopia’. This award shows how important India is to him. This is PM Modi’s 28th international award.
Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Addis Ababa airport. After this he took PM Modi to the hotel in his car. On the way, he took Prime Minister Modi to the Science Museum and Friendship Park, which was not included in his programme. This special gesture of the Nobel Peace Prize winning Ethiopian Prime Minister reflects his deep respect for Prime Minister Modi.
After receiving the honor in Ethiopia, PM Modi expressed his gratitude on the social media platform ‘ And is committed to further strengthening cooperation with Ethiopia to create new opportunities.
PM Modi will address the Parliament
PM Modi will also address the joint session of the Ethiopian Parliament on Thursday. During this, the PM will share his views on many issues. He will also talk about India’s journey as the ‘Mother of Democracy’ and the implications of the India-Ethiopia partnership for the ‘Global South’.
