Country: There is good news for crores of farmers. The 22nd installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) can be transferred to the bank accounts of farmers in early February 2026. Keep in mind, if your documents are incomplete or mandatory procedures are not completed, the amount of ₹2000 may get stuck.
4 things required to get 22nd installment
Complete e-KYC: Money will not be received without e-KYC. You can complete this through ‘OTP’ on PM-Kisan portal or through biometric method at your nearest CSC centre.
Unique Farmer ID: Unique Farmer ID is mandatory from the year 2026. It connects your identity and land records digitally. If you have not got your ID made yet, then contact your agriculture office or public service center.
Land Verification: Often the money gets stopped because the ‘Land Seeding’ status is ‘No’. Check the status on the portal and if ‘No’ then submit the documents to the Tehsil or Accountant office and get them updated.
Bank Account and Aadhaar Seeding (NPCI): Benefits are available directly through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). For this, it is necessary to link the bank account to Aadhaar and be active on NPCI.

Select ‘Know Your Status’ option.
Enter registration number and captcha.
Check complete eligibility details after OTP verification.
