
Kathua. Security forces have killed a Pakistani Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist during a joint operation in Bilwar area of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. This action was carried out by a small team of Jammu and Kashmir Police with the help of Indian Army and CRPF. IGP Bhim Sen Tuti said that this terrorist was under the surveillance of security agencies for the last one month.
During the initial encounters on January 7 and earlier in the month of December also, the terrorist had managed to escape from the siege. However, this time the security forces carried out the operation as per the precise strategy and killed the terrorist. According to the IGP, the operation was well planned and security arrangements have been further strengthened in the area. At present, a search operation is going on in the area so that the possibility of any other terrorist activity can be completely eliminated.
