Ayodhya. March 19 at Shri Ram Temple: President Draupadi Murmu will attend the installation of Shri Ram Yantra and Vedic rituals in the Ram Temple premises as the chief guest. This program is being organized on the first day of Chaitra Navratri (Vasantik Navratri) and Hindu New Year (Varsha Pratipada). Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present, due to which a huge crowd is expected.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has made special arrangements for crowd management and security. According to Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, VIP pass or special darshan facility will not be available on March 19. Only invited guests will be allowed to enter through the designated route (Rangmahal Barrier/Crossing One). At the same time, for common devotees, darshan will continue uninterrupted from 6 am to late evening. There will be no obstacles of any kind. In view of security, a ban has been imposed on carrying mobile phones in the temple premises. With this, devotees can remain completely absorbed in devotion and security is strengthened. If a person brings security guards with him, they will also not be allowed entry into the premises. It is prohibited to carry licensed revolver, sword, gun etc. in the premises. However, members of the Sikh community will be allowed to carry a legally permitted small kirpan (worn around the neck). Invited guests will have personal; These cannot be handed over to anyone else.
Trust general secretary Champat Rai said that about 3500-5000 people will participate in the program, which includes workers of Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan of UP-Uttarakhand, 45 officials of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, about 350 saints and workers who contributed in the construction of the temple. Many old associates of the Ram Mandir movement have not been invited this time. For the convenience of the devotees, fasting-friendly food like fruits, makhana, peanuts, potato chips will be available in the premises for the devotees observing Navratri fast. Also, adequate arrangements for drinking water and toilets have been made. The Trust says that these steps have been taken for the safety of the devotees, order and uninterrupted experience of devotion. Rituals will be performed by Vedic scholars at the temple complex during the President’s visit, and workers will be honoured. This day will be very special for Ayodhya, where lakhs of devotees can reach for the darshan of Ramlala.
