Jammu . Taking a major action against illegal and unethical activities, Jammu Police on Sunday conducted simultaneous raids on several spa centers falling under the jurisdiction of Eastern Sub-Division of South Zone. The raid was conducted by police teams led by the SHO of Channi Himmat police station along with other police officers in the presence of women police officers and an executive magistrate. During this campaign, spa centers were thoroughly inspected. Registers maintained by spa centers were scrutinized and DVRs and other incriminating material were seized from suspected sites for further investigation. As part of the investigation, some people have also been detained for questioning. This entire operation was conducted under the supervision of SDPO East and SP City South and overall supervision of SSP Jammu. An FIR has also been registered in this regard in the concerned police station. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the involvement of any wider network in the matter. This operation was a well-planned and coordinated action taken by the Jammu Police in collaboration with the administration. The police took this action after receiving complaints of unethical practices going on in some spa centers of the area.
