
Bengaluru Crime: In a shocking incident, a 40-year-old software engineer shot his own wife dead on Tuesday. After this the accused went straight to the police station, surrendered and confessed to his crime. According to the police, the husband and wife were living separately for the last one and a half years. The husband had doubts about his wife’s character, which in time became the cause of serious disputes.
Four bullets were fired while stopping on the way.
Deceased Bhuvaneshwari was working as Assistant Manager in Basaveshwarnagar branch of Union Bank of India. Around 6:30 to 7 pm on Tuesday evening, when she was returning home after duty, the accused husband Balamurugan stopped her on the way. After this he took out his pistol and fired four bullets from nearby. The people present on the spot took the injured woman to the hospital, but the doctors declared her dead.
Married in 2011, were living separately for 18 months
The accused told the police that he was married in the year 2011. Both were living separately for the last 18 months. Due to character doubts, bitterness in relationships increased. The wife had started living in a separate room, but the accused found out about her. He admitted that he had been keeping an eye on his wife for the last four months.
Unemployed accused, also handed over weapon
West Division DCP S. According to Girish, the accused was earlier a software engineer in a private company, but was unemployed for the last four years. Both are residents of Salem district of Tamil Nadu. After the murder, the accused himself reached the police station and confessed to the crime and also handed over the weapon to the police. Police have registered a case under section 103 of BNS in Bengaluru Crime case and started investigation.
