On behalf of Sai Baba Sansthan, a picture of Devadhi Dev Mahadev has been installed near the Samadhi of Sai Baba so that devotees can have darshan of Bholenath Shankar along with Sai Baba. Also, due to the possibility of a large number of devotees coming to Shirdi and it being a fasting day, 13 thousand kg sago khichdi was prepared in the Sai Prasadalaya of Sai Baba Sansthan. Sabudana Khichdi and Jhirka Prasad were being served throughout the day in the Prasadalaya to the devotees coming to Shirdi. To make Khichdi in the Prasadalaya of Sai Baba Sansthan, 5,500 kg sago, 4,000 kg peanuts, 700 liters of peanut oil, 2,000 kg potatoes and 1,200 kg sugar, salt, red chilli, green chilli etc. have been used. A total of 13,000 kg Mahaprasad was prepared from all these things and the devotees were eating it with great devotion. Devotees of all religions come to Shirdi to have the darshan of Sai Baba, who gives the great mantra of One Lord of all. Most of them take Prasad at the Prasadalaya run by Sai Sansthan. Generally two vegetables, chapatti and varan-bhaat, are served here. By the way, there is a tradition of offering special Sabudana Khichdi and Jhirkaya Prasad on the occasion of fast on the day of Ashadhi Ekadashi and Mahashivratri. Sai Prasadalaya head Sanjay Shinde said, around 70 thousand devotees are expected to avail Sai Khichdi in Shirdi on Sunday.
