On the second day of his visit to Singapore, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath signed an important MoU with AI SATS, a leading company in the aviation services sector. Under this agreement, two major projects will be established at Noida International Airport, which include a state-of-the-art cargo terminal and world-class air catering kitchen. An investment of about Rs 4458 crore is proposed in these projects, which is expected to generate direct and indirect employment opportunities on a large scale in the state.
North India will get a big logistics hub
With the construction of the proposed cargo complex, Noida Airport will emerge as a major hub of air logistics not only for Uttar Pradesh but for the entire North India. This will give new impetus to import-export activities. Especially exports of electronics, pharmaceuticals and agricultural products will get a boost. There are plans to connect the airport with multi-modal connectivity, so that it can become an important strategic hub for global trade.
