Mitchell Starc became the Player of the Series. Mitchell Starc, who proved his mettle in the very first match of the series, was awarded the Player of the Series award. At the age of 35, Starc won this award on the basis of his killer bowling. He took maximum 31 wickets in this series. Apart from him, no one could take even 25 wickets in this series. Braydon Cross remained at second position with 22 wickets. Starc bowled the maximum of 153.1 overs in this series, in which his average was the lowest at 19.93.
