
New Delhi. A car went out of control and went into the Ramganga canal on the roadside near Hari Nivada of Rasulabad police station area in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Three people, including two brothers, died when the car sank, while one was seriously injured. The injured has been sent to Medical College Kanpur.
Everyone had come to participate in the Mundan.
Rakesh Srivastava (54), resident of Bahraich Road, Kotwali Nagar district, Gonda, along with son Abhishek (26) and brother Radhesh Srivastava (42), driver Kariya alias Munnu, had come to relative Dilip Srivastava’s house in Akodhiya of Rasulabad police station area on Friday morning to attend the Mundan Sanskar of his son. Here around 3 pm, all four were returning by car to Kanpur to attend a program.
Abhishek’s condition critical, referred to Kanpur
After leaving the village, Hari reached near Nivada, when the driver lost control. The car went out of control and went into the Ramganga canal from the roadside. Meanwhile, Block Education Officer Ajab Singh, who was coming from behind, stopped after seeing the accident. With the help of local people, he worked hard to get the car and the people trapped in it out. The police took all four to CHC. Here the doctor declared Rajesh, Radhesh, and driver Munnu dead. While Abhishek has been referred to Kanpur Hallet in critical condition.
