PM Modi Inauguration PMO: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the new Prime Minister’s Office ‘Seva Tirtha’ today on Friday, 13 February 2026. From today the power center of the country has changed. PM Modi has inaugurated ‘Seva Teerth’ at around 1:30 pm. The new office has been equipped with almost all the facilities keeping in mind the modern and future needs of administrative work.

According to media reports, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Law and Justice, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers and Ministry of Tribal Affairs are located in the new office. Apart from this, many modern facilities have been provided in this complex. Digitally connected offices, separate and organized zones for public interaction and reception have also been arranged.

Delhi became the capital on 13 February 1931

In ‘Seva Tirtha’, the Prime Minister’s Office, National Security Council Secretariat and Cabinet Secretariat have come together in one complex, which earlier used to operate at separate places. Let us tell you, on 13 February 1931, New Delhi formally became the capital of India. It has completed 95 years from today. Perhaps this might have been the reason why the date of inauguration of ‘Seva Teerth’ was kept as 13th February.

New PMO built at a cost of Rs 1189 crore

Let us tell you, cabinet meetings have been taking place in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) located in South Block for the last 80 years. But from today onwards there will be no cabinet meeting in South Block. Prime Minister’s Office has been created in the new office Seva Tirth-1, Cabinet Secretariat in Seva Tirth-2 and NSA and National Security Council Secretariat in Seva Tirth-3. Whose total cost is Rs 1,189 crore. It is spread over approximately 2 lakh 26 thousand square feet.

Approval received on the very first day

PM Modi has signed many important decisions on the very first day he started working in the new office ‘Seva Teerth’. In which PM Relief Scheme, doubling of Lakhpati Didi’s target, big announcement for farmers and apart from this Startup India Fund 2.0 has been approved.
