Bhopal. A Muslim MLA from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh), has made such demands regarding cow mother that Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati of Jyotirmath Peeth has become very happy and he has praised the MLA profusely and asked the Hindu MLAs to learn from him. In fact, Congress MLA from Bhopal North Assembly seat Atif Akil has recently presented a private resolution in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, demanding to declare the cow as the national animal, and also to perform the last rites of the cow on its death and to ban the trade of its meat and leather. After knowing about this demand of the MLA, Swami Avimukteshwaranand reacted and not only praised the Muslim MLA but even said that if his proposal fails then it will be a big stigma on the Hindu MLAs.

In a video released on this matter, Swami Avimukteshwarananda said, ‘It is a great surprise when the one from whom we hope does not fulfill our hopes, and the one from whom we have no hope, comes forward and stands near our heart. One such scene has emerged from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Where Atif Akil, MLA from Bhopal North seat, has presented a private resolution in the Assembly, demanding to give the status of national animal to mother cow. He has also asked for a complete ban on the trade of cow meat and leather and to take strict action against those involved in cow slaughter. Shankaracharya told that Akil has also demanded to make arrangements to cremate the mother cow with full respect after her death.

‘Hindus are failing in following their religion’
Further targeting the Hindu MLAs of the state, Swami Avimukteshwaranand said that ‘This demand should have been made by the MLAs who call themselves Hindus, this resolution should have been presented by them, but Hindus are not only failing in following their religion, but are also failing in calling themselves Hindus.’

‘Hindu MLAs still have a chance’
Further praising Akil, he said, ‘Today, Atif Akil has taken an edge over all the Hindu MLAs in the MP Assembly. But no problem, there is still a chance, by passing the resolution presented by him, all the MLAs can make themselves participants in this good work and everyone can be congratulated.

‘Then there will be a huge stigma on Hindu MLAs’
Further challenging the Hindu MLAs of Madhya Pradesh, he said, ‘If this proposal fails, there will be a huge stigma on the Hindu MLAs of Madhya Pradesh, this is what we want to say. At the same time, we would like to congratulate Atif Akil, Congress MLA from Bhopal North Assembly seat, and would also like to congratulate his family and his close friends who gave him the strength to bring such a proposal in the Assembly.

‘Same situation in Parliament, Muslim MPs are demanding’
He further said that even in the Parliament, we are seeing that Muslim MPs are saying to declare Mother Cow as the Mother of the Nation, but the so-called parties that call themselves Hindu, or the MPs from other parties who call themselves Hindu, they are missing something in this matter. Therefore, what we have to say in this matter is that whatever your faith is, or even if your faith has died, there is a need to support this proposal and bring such a proposal on behalf of the public whose representatives you are.

Appealed to Hindus to stand in favor of mother cow
Concluding his speech, Avimukteshwaranand said, ‘We would like to say to every Hindu, declare yourself a real Hindu by standing in favor of mother cow, otherwise in the eyes of the public you will be a fake Hindu, there is no point in being a fake Hindu. Therefore, stand in favor of mother cow.

Atif Akil said – difference between words and actions of BJP
Let us tell you that Congress MLA from Bhopal North Assembly seat Atif Akil had presented a private resolution in the Assembly on Tuesday, February 17, demanding to declare the cow as the national animal. Talking about this, Atif Akil had said, ‘I have put an unofficial resolution in the Assembly regarding the cow that the cow should be declared the national animal. Because if Hindu religion considers cow as mother then it should definitely be declared the national animal. At the same time, when a cow dies, its last rites should also be performed and the trade of cow leather should also be stopped. Further alleging the difference between the words and actions of the BJP, he said that in the year 2017, my father had also made the same demand, and even at that time there was a BJP government, but even after having the majority, this resolution could not be passed.
