Miller and Brewis’ innings appreciated
Meanwhile, former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan praised South Africa’s composed batting. He said on his YouTube channel, ‘Bumrah was bowling brilliantly when South Africa lost three wickets. But then Miller showed his experience. The experience of playing six World Cups was clearly visible. He scored a half-century exactly when the team needed him the most. Pathan also described Dewald Brevis’s innings of 45 runs as decisive. He said, ‘Brevis’s innings of 45 runs was very important. Had that partnership not been there, South Africa would not have won the match. He showed patience in the beginning and then gave stability to the team.
