
A big upheaval has been seen in the politics of Tamil Nadu today. Before the assembly elections, former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam has joined the ruling party DMK. Former Tamil Nadu CM and expelled AIADMK leader O Panneerselvam (OPS) has joined the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). OPS, a long-time loyalist of former AIADMK supremo Jayalalitha, was formally inducted into the DMK by Chief Minister MK Stalin in the presence of senior ministers at the party headquarters in Chennai. According to sources, OPS may be made a candidate from Bodi Mettu constituency of Theni, his home constituency.
