According to the information received, this incident happened in Baner area of Pune. The name of the deceased woman is Ganga Tejas Bembalkar (27). Her husband’s name is Tejas Shiva Bembalkar. Tejas has received higher education from America. Tejas and Ganga got married 3 months ago. But after marriage, instead of finding happiness, Ganga had to face harassment from her in-laws. Ganga’s family members have alleged that fed up with this harassment, the newly-wed bride committed suicide by jumping from the same building where she lived. In this case, the father of the deceased woman has lodged a complaint at the police station, and a case has been registered against her husband, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and father-in-law at Baner Police Station in Pune. On the basis of the complaint received, the police conducted Panchnama at the spot. They found a suicide note at the spot. In this suicide note, the woman has written that she herself is responsible for the death, but the police is investigating on the basis of the allegations of the woman’s family. This incident has created a stir in the area and the question is being raised that how many more Vaishnavis and Gangas will be killed?
