New Delhi. Crackdown has been tightened on Luthra Brothers in Goa Night Club fire incident. Saurabh Luthra and Gaurav Luthra, who were hiding in Thailand, have been caught. Luthra Brothers were hiding in Phuket, Thailand. Now the main reason for the delay in bringing Luthra Brothers to India is visa and passport. Sources say that only after the visa was canceled, the process of extradition of Luthra Brothers got expedited. First the visa will be cancelled. After that the Thai Police will take Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra from Phuket to Bangkok. After this he will be kept in the Thai Immigration Detention Center in Bangkok.
Indian investigative agencies, along with Thai police, arrested the brothers on Thursday. Luthra Brothers are the owners of Birch by Romeo Lane night club. They had fled to Thailand after the fire incident. 25 people had died in the fire that broke out on Saturday night. Most of the dead were staff at Birch by Romeo Lane. Now the question is that Luthra Brothers have been caught, but why is there a delay in bringing them to India? After all, how will he be extradited? Will they come directly to Delhi from Phuket or will they be taken to Bangkok?
Sources say that Luthra Brothers i.e. Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra will be issued emergency certificate only after the legal process of some important documents. This may take time till Monday or Tuesday. With the issuance of the ‘Emergency Certificate’, they will be able to undertake a one-way return journey to India despite their passport being suspended. Since Saturday and Sunday are holidays, it does not seem possible for Luthra Brothers to come to India before Monday. Since Saturday and Sunday are holidays, all remaining formalities will be completed from Monday. After the emergency certificate is issued, their tickets will be booked and they will be extradited to India with the Indian authorities. Sources say that both the accused brothers will be in India by Tuesday. Now the question is what will happen once it lands in India?
