Indian players received medals from ICC officials
When the Indian players refused to accept the medal from Naqvi, he gave the Under-19 Asia Cup trophy to the Pakistan team and then also posed for photographs with the champion team. Naqvi handed over this trophy to Pakistan captain Farhan Yusuf. Whereas the Indian players took the medal from the hands of an ICC official instead of from the hands of Naqvi.
Before this, India had won the title by defeating Pakistan in the final of the senior team Asia Cup 2025.
