Anantnag. After CCTV footage of two Lashkar terrorists surfaced in Anantnag market, a search operation was conducted in Dengarpora and Qazibagh areas. According to reports, one of these terrorists is a resident of Kherwan in Kulgam. The second terrorist seen in the video is being claimed to be Pakistani commander Hanzullah. Although its official confirmation is yet to be done.
According to media reports, Army and Kashmir Police personnel are searching for both of them in the area. Local people are also being interrogated so that they can help in catching the terrorists. Recently, after two terrorists were spotted in Udhampur, searches were conducted in 80 villages from Jammu to Kashmir. The soldiers had checked every house. The video that has surfaced recently has the date of 25th December. The time is evening. Local terrorist Mohammad Latif seen in the video is a resident of Kherwan, Kulgam. It is being claimed that he had joined Lashkar’s shadow organization Kashmir Revolution Army in November.
It is being told that the security forces have been searching for both the terrorists for 30 hours, although till now they have not got any success. At the same time, the terrorists have also not carried out any incident yet. Due to this, no clue of their presence is available. Last month, a BSF officer had revealed that despite suffering losses after India’s Operation Sindoor, Pakistan has once again activated about 72 terrorist launch pads in front of Jammu region. Of these, 12 launch pads are near the international border in Sialkot and Zafarwal sectors, about 60 launch pads are said to be active near the LOC. After this, vigil on the border has been further increased.
