Every parent’s dream is that their child should study well and progress. Along with school education, graduation and post graduation degree has also become the need of today’s time. Many times, due to lack of money, children leave studies midway. Keeping this in mind, the state government has brought Post Matric Scholarship Scheme.
What is Post Matric Scholarship Scheme?
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme has been launched by the Government of Madhya Pradesh for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Backward Classes (EWS). The state government is providing financial assistance for studies from 11th class to PhD. This benefit will be available only to those students who have passed 10th class. The government bears the entire cost of education, the fee money comes and the hostel-mess expenses are paid.
Who will get the benefit of this scheme?
It is mandatory for students who are residents of Madhya Pradesh.
Students will have to get admission in 11th, 12th, graduation, postgraduation, PhD or any technical course.
Students should belong to SC, ST, OBC or EWS category.
Along with this, the annual income of the parents must be Rs 2.50 lakh.
How to apply for the scheme?
You will have to visit the official website of Madhya Pradesh, MP Scholarship Portal 2.0.
If students are not registered then they will have to register. Must login.
Information about necessary documents will have to be given and documents will have to be uploaded.

What documents will be required?
To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is necessary to have photocopy of income certificate, caste certificate, previous class mark sheet (10th class is mandatory), bank passbook. It is mandatory to link bank account with Aadhar card.
