Washington. If about 12,000 nuclear missiles are used around the world during World War III, an estimated 5 billion people will be killed and the entire Earth will be in the grip of ‘nuclear winter’. In this situation, there will be snowfall and extreme cold in large parts of the world for ten years.
The increasing tension between America, Israel and Iran has put the world on the threshold of the Third World War. According to experts and recent scientific studies, only two countries – Australia and New Zealand – may be able to survive in this dire scenario. Experts believe that the geographical location of these countries will help them maintain agriculture and life despite the blow of nuclear winter.
Anne Jacobson, author of ‘Nuclear War: A Scenario’ and an Armageddon expert, warned that fires from nuclear explosions could be as hot as 100 million degrees Celsius. He said that crores of people would be killed in the initial blasts, but the real devastation would begin after that. In agricultural areas such as Iowa and Ukraine, ten years of snow and cold would cause complete failure of farming, causing people to die of hunger and exposure. Jacobson said that damage to the ozone layer and the presence of radiation will make the situation more dire.
People in Australia and New Zealand will survive, but will have to live in darkness, struggle for food and seek shelter underground to avoid radiation. However, the distance and geographical location of these countries from the sea will help them reduce the temperature and remain safe to some extent. This warning has come at a time when conflict is increasing in many parts of the world. Tensions between Israel, the US and Iran are at their peak, and there are attacks and counterattacks from both sides. The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for the last four years, while the Taliban in Afghanistan has threatened war against nuclear-armed Pakistan. Apart from this, tension has also increased between China and Taiwan.
