
Noida. A massive fire broke out in a factory in Noida, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday morning. This incident took place in an electricity meter manufacturing factory located in Sector-4. As soon as the fire broke out, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the entire area. As soon as the information was received, three vehicles of the fire department reached the spot and the work of extinguishing the fire started.
Due to the intensity of the flames, the surrounding area was evacuated for safety reasons. Police and fire brigade teams of Police Station Phase-1 are continuously engaged in relief and rescue operations on the spot. At present the exact cause of the fire has not been known and it is being investigated. According to the police, electricity meters are manufactured in a company named Capital Power System Limited located in Sector-4. Suddenly a fire broke out in the factory on Thursday morning. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police and fire department teams immediately reached the spot and started trying to control the fire. However, till the time of writing the news, the fire had not been completely extinguished. According to officials, about 250 employees were working inside the factory when the fire broke out. As soon as the fire broke out, there was chaos and the employees were evacuated as soon as possible. More than two dozen people have been burnt in this accident. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Additional Police Commissioner of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Rajiv Narayan Mishra said that as soon as information about the fire was received, relief and rescue operations were started immediately. The fire department team is trying to control the fire and the burnt people are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Officials say the cause of the fire is being investigated.
