20 teams will participate in T20 World Cup
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has retained the participation of 20 teams, which was started in the year 2024. With the conclusion of the Super-8 stage of the 2026 T20 World Cup, 12 teams have confirmed their places. Teams will qualify on the basis of ranking

Group Stage – 20 teams will be included in this tournament and those teams will be divided into four groups of 5 each. Super-8 – The top 2 teams of each group will reach the Super-8 round.
