India vs New Zealand three-match ODI series is going to start from January 11. BCCI has announced the squad for this series. Vice-captain Shreyas Iyer has returned to the team. However, there were questions over Iyer’s availability for the ODI series as he was out of the team due to injury. Shreyas Iyer was injured while taking a catch during the Australia tour, due to which he was also ruled out of the South Africa ODI series. Before the start of the series, a big update has come out on the fitness of Shreyas Iyer.
Bangladesh’s drama is not ending, gave this reply by writing a second letter to ICC
According to ESPNcricinfo, Shreyas Iyer has been cleared to join India’s squad for the upcoming three-match series against New Zealand. Shreyas was included in India’s 15-man squad earlier this month, but it was dependent on his fitness. After proving his match fitness in the 50-over Vijay Hazare Trophy, Shreyas will now join the India squad on Friday, which is two days before the first ODI against New Zealand in Vadodara. Shreyas Iyer proved his fitness in the Vijay Hazare Trophy ahead of the ODI series against New Zealand. While captaining the Mumbai team, he played two tremendous innings of 82 and 45 runs. India’s ODI vice-captain Shreyas Iyer is going to make a comeback to international cricket after suffering a spleen injury while trying to take a catch in the Sydney ODI on 25 October. He was admitted to the hospital due to internal bleeding due to a ruptured spleen. Most of the Indian ODI team reached Vadodara on 7 January. Vadodara will host its first men’s international match in more than 15 years on Sunday. The newly built Kotambi Stadium has already hosted WPL and Women’s ODI matches.
