In a joint action, the Special Task Force of Haryana and Bihar have raided the house of a politically connected person. After this action, there is a stir in the entire area and people are having various kinds of discussions.
Panic in the village due to joint STF action: Joint team of Haryana STF and Bihar STF raided Samastipur. The action was taken in Ajnaul village of Dalsinghsarai subdivision. As soon as STF and local police station camped, an atmosphere of panic was created in the village.
Allegation of cheating in the name of rupee doubling: According to sources, the matter is related to an FIR of cheating and robbery registered in Haryana. It is alleged that after taking two lakh rupees from a person, he was tricked into giving him four lakh rupees. After the exchange of money, a robbery was committed on the way.
Pankaj Kumar Lal’s name surfaced: The investigation intensified after Pankaj Kumar Lal’s name surfaced in this entire matter. Seeing the links of the case to Bihar, Haryana STF contacted Bihar STF. After this, a joint team was formed and a raid was conducted in Ajnaul village.
Search of the house and cordon off the area: STF team conducted a thorough search of Pankaj Kumar Lal’s residence. During the raid the entire area around the house was surrounded. According to the villagers, no outsider was allowed near the house.
Pankaj was a former spokesperson of BJP: It is said that Pankaj Kumar Lal had previously been the district spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party. At present, he is said to be involved in the work of supplying water to the Railways. Apart from this, he also operates a rickshaw agency in Kalyanpur of Vibhutipur police station area.
Luxurious house worth more than three crores: According to the information, he had purchased land in Ajnaul village about two years ago. After this, construction of a luxurious house was started at a cost of more than Rs 3 crore. The construction work of the house is said to be still going on.
Assets and networks under investigation: The STF team is also investigating the source of the assets. Also, other people associated with fake currency and rupee doubling gang are being searched. There is a possibility that this matter may be related to some big network.
DSP’s statement: Dalsinghsarai DSP Vivek Sharma has confirmed the raid. He said that the action is still going on and the situation will become clear only after the investigation is completed. Official information about the entire matter will be given after the raid is over.
