PM Vishwakarma Yojana: Many government schemes are running in the country, the benefits of which are being availed by a large number of people. In this direction, the Central Government has started ‘Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana’. This scheme was started in September 2023 and is being operated by the Central Government. What are the benefits available in PM Vishwakarma Yojana?
After joining PM Vishwakarma Yojana, the beneficiaries are first given training for a few days. In this training, new and advanced techniques related to their work are taught, so that they can do their work in a better way. During the training, a financial assistance (stipend) of Rs 500 is given to the beneficiary for every day for which the training lasts. Along with this, a toolkit assistance of Rs 15,000 is also given by the government to buy the tools required for one’s work.

In how many months does the loan have to be repaid?
If you join this scheme, you also get the facility to take loan at low interest rate. This loan is given to you to start or expand your work. Under the scheme, first of all you get a loan of Rs 1 lakh, which has to be repaid in 18 months. After you repay this loan on time, you can also take an additional loan of Rs 2 lakh, which has to be repaid over a period of 30 months.

Who are eligible for Vishwakarma Scheme
Let us tell you that the benefit of PM Vishwakarma Yojana will be available only to those artisans who are associated with 18 selected ancestral professions decided by the government and who are at least 18 years of age.
