Women Cricket Match Fee Hike: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given a big gift to women cricketers across the country before the New Year. This important decision was taken in the Apex Council meeting held on Monday, 22 December 2025, where the proposal to increase the fees was passed unanimously.

Till now, senior women cricketers playing in domestic tournaments used to get Rs 20,000 per day and reserve players got Rs 10,000 per day. According to the new rules, senior women cricketers included in the playing-11 will now be given Rs 50,000 per day, while reserve players will get Rs 25,000. That means there has been a direct increase of about 2.5 times in the earnings of women players, which is being considered a big positive step for women’s cricket.

Women Cricket Match Fee Hike Its effect will be clearly visible in T20 tournaments also. According to BCCI, the women players who are part of the playing-11 in the National T20 tournament will get Rs 25,000 per match, while the reserve players will be given Rs 12,500. If a player plays regularly in all formats throughout the season, she can earn Rs 12 to 14 lakh.

The benefit of this decision will not be limited to players only. The salaries of umpires and match referees in women’s domestic tournaments have also been increased. Now in league matches he will get Rs 40,000 per day, while in knockout matches he will get Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000.
